Imagovisions‘ Dragonfly

To respond to the COVID-19 health emergency, Imago Vision, together with the Copan Group, developed DragonFlyTM, a thermal imaging camera capable of detecting body temperature remotely and without contact. The system is already in use at the Poliambulanza Foundation and the Spedali Civili di Brescia, where it helps screen people safely at the entrances of hospitals and other facilities.

Using infrared technology with automatic adaptation to ambient conditions and internal calibration, DragonFlyTM can reliably detect body temperature for anyone who steps in front of the screen. This protects medical staff, speeds up hospital reception procedures, and increases overall safety during a time of crisis.

MiniDis supplied the fitlet2, providing the reliable computing foundation that powers the DragonFlyTM system. This collaboration demonstrates how technology can serve the common good and deliver fast, practical solutions in times of urgent need.
