Delivering up to 67 TOPS—a 1.7× performance boost over its predecessor—this kit enables developers to run advanced generative AI workloads such as vision transformers, large language models, vision-language models, and more.
The developer kit includes the Jetson Orin Nano 8GB module, built with an NVIDIA Ampere architecture GPU featuring 1024 CUDA cores and 32 Tensor Cores, alongside a powerful 6-core Arm Cortex-A78AE CPU. This enables multiple concurrent AI pipelines and high-throughput inference. Its reference carrier board supports all Orin Nano and Orin NX modules and provides extensive connectivity for prototyping edge-AI products.
The board features dual MIPI CSI-2 camera connectors, multiple M.2 expansion slots for NVMe and wireless modules, four USB 3.2 Gen2 ports, DisplayPort output, Gigabit Ethernet, and a versatile 40-pin expansion header. These interfaces make it ideal for robotics, autonomous machines, sensor hubs, and embedded AI systems.
Running the full NVIDIA AI software stack, Jetson Orin Nano integrates seamlessly with NVIDIA’s domain-specific frameworks including Isaac for robotics, Metropolis for vision AI, and Holoscan for advanced sensor processing. Developers can accelerate their workflows using Omniverse Replicator for synthetic data generation and TAO Toolkit for easy model customization from NVIDIA NGC pretrained models.
